 Author birthday...

Before I could go get my camera, one was already gone!

It's time for Christmas movies...and they are moving FAST!

Quick and easy knitting...nothing fancy.

And finally, our snowman...

October and November 2016 Displays

Happy Halloween!

Home repair helpers - none of these went out...

Our WR365 display was VERY popular and we had to reload it multiple times.

No-shave November was fun!

Bill Nye the Science Guy movies...another one that needed replenished often.

2016 Teen Award Winners went over pretty well.
We don't get a lot of teens, but probably half went out.

Cooking and Crime display...only one of these went out.  They look cute, so I don't know why they don't move more.

September displays

It's National Library Card Signup Month!  Children's books about reading and libraries are on display.

I had this dream interpretation display up for 10 minutes, went to get my camera, and two books were gone already.  YAY!

Time for a mystery!

Teens get music-themed books featured this month.

Football season is here!

What I really wanted this sign to say was,
"Laugh a little, will ya?"

Hispanic Heritage Month
September 15 - October 15

Three more....

Horror movies...they keep flying off the shelves.

2016 Summer Olympics sports
After just two days, they've had to be replenished twice.

Bye, kiddos!  Take one of these with you!  (And they did!)

July displays

These flew off the shelves like crazy!

Our staff members are great models!

These moved, but not like I thought they would.
National BBQ Month is always a hit.

This one was done with the cooperation of the FWPD.  Lots of comments on the picture, and the books that checked out were children's picture book fiction.

It's a Dummies world.  A few of these circulated, but they didn't go as well as I thought they would.  This kind of display should be out in the open...unlocked.

Movies that were dead on the shelf (no circ in six months) flew off this display.  I had to replace it seven times throughout the month.  YAY!  This tells me that the way we shelve things is not good for marketing the collection.

"Take a Walk in Their Shoes" was the name of this display.  It was very divers, and the books moved slowly.  Everyone loved my co-worker's shoes, though.

If it had the word "summer" in the title, it went on display.  We replaced items daily.
As always, there is a display promoting our year-long reading program.
