Just a few updates...

There has not been an extra moment these last few months.  Between switching branches, job title/duties and school, there are few moments of down time.  Here is what I have been up to at work:

Pete the Cat is always a hit.  This is a flannelboard "pin the tail on the donkey" type game.

The story time theme was dragons and I had a pretty difficult craft since the group was supposed to be older.  Instead, a lot of younger ones showed up, so I had to quickly come up with this mask.

We made hand print crabs and all of the books were about types of crabs.

I want everyone in the library to feel welcome.

The signs say "welcome" in different languages and one says,
"No matter who you are...or where you are on life's journey...
YOU ARE WELCOME HERE!"

January 2017

I placed a few books and DVDs about yoga in the display case this month, but happily, the items were checked out before I could get a photo.  I just added miscellaneous diet books after that.  I had some comics in the case as well.

 Our WR365 display was VERY popular and we had to reload it multiple times.

No-shave November was fun!

Bill Nye the Science Guy movies...another one that needed replenished often.

2016 Teen Award Winners went over pretty well.
We don't get a lot of teens, but probably half went out.

Cooking and Crime display...only one of these went out.  They look cute, so I don't know why they don't move more.

It's National Library Card Signup Month!  Children's books about reading and libraries are on display.

I had this dream interpretation display up for 10 minutes, went to get my camera, and two books were gone already.  YAY!
